Information contained in the database is intended to provide an overview of the types and locations of asbestos-containing materials (ACM) in buildings at WSU. Data is provided in three formats:

  1. Full Building "Good Faith" Inspections – This information is presented in a PDF report. Sampling data is also provided for your reference. Information and conclusions within may be used to satisfy "Good Faith" survey requirements outlined in WAC 296-62-077; however, survey limitations may be present. Therefore, additional site evaluation by an AHERA Building Inspector may be required to prior to construction, renovation, remodeling, maintenance, repair or demolition activities to fully meet Good Faith survey requirements.
  2. Historical Sampling Data - This data is intended for hazard communication purposes. Sample descriptions and locations may be obsolete. Only an AHERA Building Inspector may use this information; which may require additional site evaluation, sample data verification, and reporting to satisfy "Good Faith" asbestos survey requirements outlined in WAC 296-62-077 for construction, renovation, remodeling, maintenance, repair, or demolition activities.
  3. Asbestos-Free Building Certification - PDF certifications by the General Contractor that no asbestos-containing materials were installed in the construction of the building.
