Two 1-gallon plastic (Nalgene?) jars found in clean-up of retired professor's office (Richard Johnson). One jar has an "F" written on lid, the other has "Formalin". They were both in the same box as 2 jars labeled 75% ethanol. These two jars were almost certainly the ethanol/formalin mix used for fixing specimens in the field. The jars are probably Nalgene, and probably several decades old. Nalgene becomes brittle over time. Suggest transport in tubs to contain contents if Nalgene cracks in transport.
